We are looking to know a little bit more about you and your family! At the bottom of this page you will find a few questions we'd like you to answer. The first ones pertain to your personal information. The second ones pertain to your role as the minister.

Before you fill anything out, we'd like to share a little bit about our congregation and our city!!!

Our Congregation...

We are a congregation that is friendly, loving, and supportive.We have attendance of 80+ with a great potential to grow! We have two elders and three deacons who are cohesive, open, and complementary. We host a large youth rally each August ("Back to School Bash"), which this is the 26th year for the event. We also host a growing Women's Conference, which this will be the 7th year for this event. We also take time, when the school year begins, to pray for our students and staff at various schools.

Nearly all of our kids go to church camp each summer to either Black Mesa Bible Camp or Silver Maple Camp. We also take our kids to participate in Leadership Training for Christ (www.gpltc.net), in Rogers, Arkansas, on Easter weekend.

Our City...

Garden City is a thriving, diverse city with a population around 40,000. We have a large Latino culture, along with populations from Thailand, Myanmar (Burmese), Somalia, Laos, and Vietnam. We boast an indoor water park (parrotcoverwaterpark.com), great sports facilities, a community college (www.gcccks.edu), a semi-pro baseball team (gardencitywind.com)! We have a 9-screen movie theater. We also have a host of retail shopping opportunities, including two shopping centers. We boast two championship golf courses.

When you're hungry you can find several varieties of foods to eat: American, Mexican (Tex-Mex and Authentic), Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Bar-B-Q, and El Salvadorian. Additionally, we have coffee shops, bakeries, and ice cream parlors. We also have a number of food trucks and throughout the summer there is "Food Truck Friday" that brings a lot of people together in our beautiful downtown park (Stevens Park)!

Garden City has great schools in town and in nearby towns. We have 13 public elementary schools, 2 private elementary schools, 2 intermediate schools (5th-6th), 2 middle schools (7th-8th) and one high school. 

Garden City is a great place to raise a family, from both a spiritual and cultural standpoint!
